The 2Peas writing challenge is "describe your dream date".
My first thought was April 21. LOL! Remember, in the movie, Miss Congeniality when the ditzy, blonde contestant was asked "What's your idea of the perfect date?" and she responded "April 21...because it's not too cold and not too hot". Love that movie.
But seriously...
I think I've had my dream date. Joal and I had some pretty perfect moments on the cruise earlier this year. Completely relaxed, good food, good friends, each other, the sea, good music, a walk on the deck by moonlight...I couldn't really ask for anything more. It was magical and romantic and fun. I wouldn't trade those days for anything.
And on a day like today (rainy, cold, November) it's easy to remember and even easier to look forward to going back!
If you want an added challenge, write about your first date. Or maybe more safely, your first date with the one who would become your spouse. I love those stories!

PS The picture is not from the cruise...it's from our trip to the pumpkin farm a few weeks ago. It's a little "artistically off center" because Julian's photography skills are still emerging. :)
Happy Thursday!

Lucky, lucky gal! All that connecting time and unwinding away from the madness of everyday life must have been amazing.
Hah! April 21st! Good one!
Bwahahahahha, April 21st.
Good dates are the things that keep our marriages alive.
I love that movie also! lol... So funny. Aren't cruises just wonderful? I love being on a cruise. Very relaxing.
My 1st date with my husband...hmmm.. we went to a local romantic restaurant and had dinner and then we went to small local bar that had a wonderful group there that did all 50's & 60's music. Just wonderful.
I met Rob at the Wildhorse Saloon and for our first date we met back there two nights later. (Before kids we were pretty darn good dancers). We talked for hours and then after I got home he called me and we talked until about 3 a.m. I already knew that something special was happening to me. =) And here we are, 6 days from our 10th wedding anniversary. =)
