Mom, Dad and I made lunch at the Fisher House on Sunday and Andy came over. It was quite the most wonderful non-eventful family dinner. Wish Daniel and Deb and Matt could have been there.

Andy's still not to excited about excessive photos but he did indulge us for a few.

Just what I do...

What to put in the "About Me" spot...it's a little intimidating. Sortof like writing a personal ad. Me? I like long walks on the beach...no, really. I do. I kindof live for them, in fact...

Love Letters Illustrated is a scrapbook of sorts, about my life. Mostly, I write about scrapbooking and stamping...and growing boys and related adventures. I do more than my share of antique shopping and I can never have too many beach days.

*I believe that a scrapbook page should tell a story.

*I believe that the process of assembling papers and images and writing the story is a grace-filled work that soothes the troubled soul in its own way.

*I believe there is value in recording the difficult facets of one's story--and I do so because I believe that a scrapbook should reflect an authentic life.

*I believe in snappy titles...a good scrapbook page has a title that draws the viewer into it and makes them wonder what this story is all about.

*I believe in simple, unfussy, unpretentious paper-crafting.

*I believe there's always room for a few more sheets of paper and another yard of ribbon.

*I believe in recording good stories and running far from perfection.

So, what's up with you?
